Pack size

20 L drum

Product Background

With a long proven history of performance across many crop types, alachlor the active ingredient in Tactix is largely absorbed by emerging shoots to inhibit cell division and growth. Compatible with a range of other herbicides such as Squadron (clomazone), Tactix helps to ensure that crops get off to the best possible start controlling weeds before they can compete with the crop for light, water and nutrients. To get the best out of Tactix ensure thorough seedbed preparation prior to application, a firm fine tilth will enable good distribution of Tactix when it is sprayed across the soil surface and importantly up to 13mm of rainfall or applied irrigation is required to ensure herbicide activation.

Pack size

5 L drum

Product Background

Squadron is your perfect tank mix partner with other pre-emergence herbicides such as Tactix (alachlor) to effectively control a range of tough broadleaf weeds and grasses across many crop types. Taken up through the roots and emerging shoots of weed seeds, it acts by inhibition of photosynthetic pigments leading to bleaching symptoms on susceptible weed species. Susceptible weeds may emerge but are lacking pigmentation and plant death occurs shortly afterwards. Squadron allows effective control of weeds before they can compete with the crop and potentially reduce yield. To get the best out of Squadron good seedbed preparation is critical along with moisture for activation from either rainfall or irrigation.
